BasketballConnect Release Notes - 15th November, 2023

A BasketballConnect release is scheduled for the 15th of November 2023.

Important: This release will be both an Admin backend and mobile/tablet release, so if you have games you need to score from this date, please ensure you have updated the application on your scoring tablet so you can continue to score games and be prepared for the start times.

The major release items include:

Admin Console Changes

Competition module fixture grid now has two views - Fixture Grid and Match List

Now when creating your draw in the Draws section in the Competition Module, you have a button towards the top to switch between Fixtures Grid and Match List.

Fixtures Grid

This view shows the current fixture in the existing grid format where you can drag and drop games easily.

Match List

Match List view allows you to see each game as an individual row item, which may make it easier to read the draw and make smaller changes if need be. 

Filter section in Competition Draw page is now on the right hand side of the screen

You can access this menu from the right hand side and easily hide it if need be.

Shop/ticket products now have public/hidden display options

Similar to the registration form how you can publicly display or hide registration divisions, you now can do so when adding a shop or ticket item. You can also set an expiry date for when that product leaves the shop or a ticket can no longer be purchased.

The public/hidden links can be found in Shop & Tickets Module > Settings. 

Referee/Official Module Changes

You can now multi-select referees to allocate them to their pools. The pool selection box will move up and down the screen with you as you scroll through your referee list. You will also notice the unassigned referees now appear on the left of the screen and the pools appear on the right of the screen.

App Updates

Now when opening a game within the App, the Action Log section appears first.
