How does a Single Use Discount Code Work?

A Single Use Discount Code is turned on per competition at association level.

Codes can be generated in your Registration Form for your competition and added at any time.

As the name suggests, the code can only be used once and will become inactive after it has been redeemed.

Redeeming the code at the checkout screen will result in the participant being charged $0.00 for their registration. This means all fees owing will need to be collected outside of BasketballConnect. This is useful for participants who have privately requested a payment plan directly with you.

Any funds owing up from their registration such as association competition fees and/or BQ membership fees, will be deducted from your Stripe account and paid forward which you will be reimbursed for once you collect the fees from the participant directly.

This means you must have your Stripe withdrawal account set up to be able to use the Single Use Discount function.
